First, we have a VC and an Angel present the the ins-and-outs of venture capital and angel capital, along with pros and cons, and myriad terminology.

  • What's the difference between angel financing and venture capital?
What does an investor need in order to be interested?
  • What minimum goals do I need to obtain to get a meeting?
  • What's convertible debt?
  • Do I or Don't I Need a Business Plan?

Then, we have 10 qualified startups who will get to deliver a 5 minute pitch
and receive 5 minutes of helpful feedback and suggestions from the panel. We are welcoming early stage companies that have innovative ideas and products and may not yet be ready for investment. It's a 'no harm' chance to hear from a well-experienced and intentioned group.
